ATHENA FC CARES is our Community Engagement Program that promotes social responsibility, leadership, teamwork, empathy and life skills development for our female athlete community.
Volunteer work: ATHENA FC believes it is important for our athletes to give back to their community. This can include volunteering at local food banks, animal shelters, or community events.
Leadership training: ATHENA FC athletes attend leadership trainings which helps develop their leadership skills and become positive role models for their peers.
Team building: ATHENA FC activities to help players develop teamwork and collaboration skills. Some examples are group projects, team bonding activities, and community service events.
Empathy building: ATHENA FC emphasizes the importance of empathy and compassion, encouraging players to develop an understanding of the needs and struggles of others. This helps them become more caring and supportive members of our community.
Life lessons: ATHENA FC believes providing players with opportunities to learn valuable life lessons, such as responsibility, resilience, and perseverance. We believe this helps develop important life skills that will benefit our athletes in their personal, and later professional, lives.
